We recommend a visit to the nearby Cartier Fondation for contemporary art

It will take you only a few minutes walk to the amazing buiding of the « Fondation Cartier« . The place is fascinating ! We like it so much that we recommend you to make a visit to the glass and steel building designed by Jean Nouvel. Moreover, they offer an incredible program to celebrate their 30 years of existence from may 10 to september 21.

Over a five months period, exhibitions along with concerts and live events, highlights some of the most emblematic works in the collection of the Fondation Cartier, works that each represent important moments in its history. From  Raymond Hains to James Lee Byars, from Nan Goldin toDavid Lynch, from Mœbius to Ron Mueck, the exhibition « Vivid memories » presents the work of magnificent artists waiting to be discovered or rediscovered.

What makes the peculiarity of Fondation Cartier for contemporary art is its free, generous patronage, marked by its unique commitment and continuous dialogue with creative artists of all views and disciplines. A good example is the Nomadic Nights and the Nights of Uncertainty that will hold regular meetings by day and by night with artists, scientists and philosophers. Faithful to the Fondation Cartier throughout the years, these collaborators will be back for unexpected encounters, engaging with the public in the exhibition spaces and in the garden of the Fondation Cartier
